WITHOUT THE KING FACTS
This documentary profiles the last absolute monarchy in Africa: Swaziland. Ruled by King Mswati III, the tiny country is suffering from an epidemic of starvation and a devastating AIDS crisis. While a group of freedom fighters hopes to remove the king from power, the monarch is also opposed by his own daughter, Princess Sikhanyiso, aka Pashu. Studying in California, Pashu's eyes are opened when she returns home to witness 75,000 virgins dancing for her father in a bid to become his next wife.
