1-MINUTE RESUME FOR JESSICA BIEL
Jessica Biel came into our households as goodie-goodie Mary Camden on the popular TV series
7th Heaven. Hoping to flaunt a more mature image, she posed topless for
Gear magazine in 2000, when she was only 17. She later admits that it wasn't the best of moves, but luckily, her career isn't too marred. She screamed her head off in the 2003 remake of
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and boasted some impressive muscles in
Blade: Trinity (2004) and
Stealth (2005) and has started boasting impressive
acting muscles in films like
The Illusionist opposite Edward Norton.
5 Things:
1. Her last name rhymes with "deal."
2. She attended Tufts University for three semesters.
3. She has an on-again, off-again relationship with actor Chris Evans. They were co-stars in 2004's Cellular and 2005's London.
4. She calls Boulder, Colo., home.
5. Esquire named her the "Sexist Woman Alive" in 2005.
Quote:
On her provocative photo shoot and cover story in
Gear Magazine: "When the
Gear article came out, I was humiliated. I sounded like an ungrateful, spoiled brat. I didn't realize that joking around with a journalist could be translated so differently on the page. I said stupid things that I thought would make me sound cool and mature. Instead, I sounded ignorant and immature."
Seventeen Magazine, January 2004
